Privacy Policy for Pourfect
Pourfect ("the App") helps users prepare cocktails with Bluetooth-enabled scales. This Privacy Policy explains what data the App processes and how.
1. Data We Collect
We do not collect personal data on our servers. Pourfect operates primarily on-device.
- Recipe and app settings data are stored locally on your device.
- Bluetooth scan and connection data are used only to discover and connect to nearby compatible scales.
- No account creation is required to use core app features.
2. In-App Purchases
Pourfect offers a free tier and a Pro unlock via in-app purchase. Payments are processed by Google Play / Apple App Store, not by us. We do not receive your full payment credentials.
3. Permissions
The App may request the following permissions depending on your platform/version:
- Bluetooth permissions for finding and connecting to a scale.
- Location (Android BLE requirement) only if required by Android for Bluetooth scanning.
- Photos/Media only if you choose to attach custom cocktail images.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We do not share personal data with third parties for advertising.
5. Data Retention
Since data is stored on your device, retention is controlled by you. Uninstalling the App may remove local data unless your platform backup restores it.
6. Children’s Privacy
Pourfect is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child provided personal information, please contact us.
7. Security
We take reasonable measures in-app to protect local data. No method of storage/transmission is 100% secure.
8. Your Choices
- You can disable Bluetooth/location permissions from your device settings.
- You can remove local app data by clearing app storage or uninstalling the app.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
